Porsche opens Germany’s first Classic Centre in Kassel

 

Together with the Glinicke Group, the sports car manufacturer opened the first Porsche Classic Centre in Germany on Friday, 4 April 2025. An extensive offer of restorations, services and spare parts supply for classic Porsche models will start there. The Alpine Legend – Episode 1

 

70 years ago, in July 1955, just a few days after creating Alpine, Jean Rédélé presented his first three A106s to the top management of Renault. By positioning blue, white and red cars in front of the historic building in south-west Paris, the young entrepreneur skillfully set the scene for his ambitions to create a French sports brand based on Renault powertrains. Talking Petrolheads – Bob Birrell

 

Bob Birrell (77), Instructor (ARDS Grade A instructor, to be precise) at Croft racing circuit. Has been motor racing almost all his adult life and has the distinction of having raced at 100 different circuits in 24 different countries. We met Bob at the Nürburgring, where he raced in a 1961 Lotus 20. (more…)
